We offer appropriate solutions for all production waste, as a rule sorted and clean materials, from our wide and varied range of size reduction machines (granulators, shredders, pulverizers, agglomerators), as well as the related ancillary equipment.

Large and small reject parts and sprues typically accumulate in the injection moulding machine and must be fed back in. The same applies to the blow moulding machine, with blebs and start-up tubes as well as reject parts. The grinding process can be carried out directly next to the moulding press or at a central location in the plant. Dust and angel hair in the grinding stock generally interfere with further processing and must be removed.

Our solution – possible Herbold machines:

Skeletal waste and edge trims, sometimes with and sometimes without adhering parts, accumulate at the deep drawing machine and must be fed back in. The shredding process can be carried out inline or at a central location in the plant.

Our solution – possible Herbold machines:

Start-up lumps and reject film accumulate during film production, loose or on rolls, possibly edge trims or cut open film rolls.

Our solution – possible Herbold machines:

Reject sheets, start-up lumps and edge trimmings accumulate on the sheet production line. They are returned inline or at a central location in the plant.

Our solution – possible Herbold machines:

Reject parts of small and large diameters, possibly on rolls, and start-up lumps accumulate in pipe production. The reject parts are up to 6 metres or more in length.

Our solution – possible Herbold machines:

Reject parts, possibly pre-sawn to a size suitable for shredding or grinding, accumulate during fluidized bed sintering. In many cases, raw material in the form of granules and ground stock from reject parts is finely ground (pulverized) in-house. The resulting powder has a grain size of 500 µ, which is suitable for further processing.

Our solution – possible Herbold machines:

We cover all areas of plastics processing, including the treatment of fibre and foam waste, waste from the production of woven PP bags (big-bags, raffia) and rubber waste.
